My Story; Melissa StoneIt's been twelve years since my divorce and I am still trying to find my twin flame, I thought one hot night in August of 2008. I have been able to work through and change many aspects of my life in the last ten years. Changing my career, creating a home for my daughter and I was writing a book, so why was this part of my life not happening? The thoughts of finding that holds me back; that loving relationship was my quest, when I signed up for The Big Glow Retreat in my own area of the Santa Cruz Mountains. While at the retreat I met a wonderful group of people. One of them would be the clue to me finding that twin flame I was looking for. Her name is Gabriella Hartwell and she had just released her new book You Find Your Soul Mate When You Let Go of Searching. We talked a lot that weekend and she gave me many readings, I bought her book and was eager to start reading it. I read it the following weekend and started in on the exercises. Writing my own self help book and work book at the time, I do understand the power behind actually doing the exercises. The first part of the book had me work on traits, views and becoming aware of what I was looking for. Then I started to look back at the relationships I was entering into. Patterns, red flags and lots of ego is what I started to see. I then sat down for a long hard look at what I really wanted. I made a list that looked something like this;
 Twin Flames Robin & Melissa Meditating With my old list, I was missing the deepness in a person. I was asking for only shallow things. Gabriella's book helped me really look at what I was looking for. So I put the list away and let go of looking. I released my book and spent that next year focusing on growing my business and occasionally meeting a man for coffee or a drink. This time with new interview questions, thanks to Gabriella's book, I now could stop wasting time with someone and see right away they were not deep enough for me and move on. In Sept 2009 I added a new staff member to my healing center, an acupuncturist named Robin. We worked well together and became good friends. It was easy to spend time with him and for me to be myself around him. We had the same goals with our work and had lots in common. That business partner relationship has now grown to a passionate love affair. I looked back on my list a couple of weeks ago and see now that I indeed did manifest my twin flame, when I made it clear what I wanted then let it go. Thanks to this book and Gabriella's guidance, it happened! |
